Act
Four letters you can send to a company in this database. Pick a company to write to; the letter fills in its name and the best address on file, and says how sure we are of that address.
- Arbitration opt-out
- Many terms of service send disputes to private arbitration instead of court, and some let you refuse that by writing to the company within a set number of days of signing up. This letter refuses it. Send it the way the terms say, and keep proof of when you sent it.
- Data access request
- Asks the company for a copy of the personal information it holds about you, where it came from, and who it has been shared with or sold to.
- Data deletion request
- Asks the company to delete the personal information it holds about you, and to tell the companies it works with to do the same.
- Do not sell or share my personal information
- Tells the company not to sell or share your personal information, including for targeted advertising.
