PimEyes lets anyone who pays upload a face and find where that face appears online, which makes it a ready tool for stalking. It is run from Dubai, out of practical reach of European regulators. A Hamburg complaint took over five years and produced only an 'information letter', so noyb is now suing that regulator. To opt out, a person must send PimEyes a photo of themselves plus an ID scan.
